IRS 1C and 1D Products
Space Imaging has developed several product lines based on IRS 1C and 1D data. These include individual scenes, digital ortho quads, custom mosaics, as well as a suite of off-the-shelf color 5-meter products providing extensive coterminous USA coverage.
i) Geo 5m
500-meter (1 sigma)
Standard IRS Geo 5-meter products include:
5-meter 23 x 23 km black-and-white scene
5-meter 23 x 70 km black-and-white scene
5-meter 70 x 70 km black-and-white scene
- Geo 5-meter IRS products are ideal for area wide area spatial analysis and regional base mapping project requirements.
- Geo level IRS products are radiometrically and geometrically corrected, and oriented to a specified datum and map projection system. IRS geo products are available as individual black and white scenes.
ii) Geo 180m
Standard IRS GEO 180-meter products include:
180-meter 812 x 812 km scenes
- The IRS WiFS sensor acquires 2 bands of 180-meter multispectral data that are specific to vegetation analysis. With a 812 km swath, WiFS is capable of providing vegetation index imagery at regional level, helping in assessment of crop condition and drought monitoring.
